As New York Fashion Week comes to an end, I am going to dedicate my next few posts to my favorite collections of the week.
With the great silhouettes and the neutral colors (and a pop of red), I have to say that I really enjoyed Victoria Beckham's collection. She makes every outfit look so effortless, and all of her pieces accentuate a small waist with the use of darker colors as a form of almost shading the body... and did anyone notice she had some of her models wear FLAT boots?? love it.
It's been one of those weeks where I just needed to get out and do something for myself... so, obviously, I went shopping for some much needed retail therapy. These are the purchases I decided to make, from J. Crew, of course.
I don't have a special someone for Valentine's Day this year, so what did I do to preoccupy myself on this romantic day? I found beautiful items that can replace my void :) 1. Valentino 2. Madewell 3. Chloe 4. J.Crew
If I had enough money to buy every one of these brown leather sandals, I would. Unfortunately... I don't. So, now I have to find some way to narrow down my options to a lonely one pair....but how is that possible when they all deserve to be in my closet?? (source: jcrew.com & bloomingdales.com)
Anyone who knows anything about fashion knows that color blocking has become a must-do trend since the past fall season. According to Vogue, "loud and proud color combinations make for a dynamic, confident look." Here are four looks from Diane von Furstenberg's Spring collection. Whatever your preferred colors, mix and match and put them together for an amazing new outfit!
